Porto's city beach, a long sandy arc sheltered by a breakwater at the north end, with a right point by the wall and peaks that grow as you move south. The most consistent banks favour lower tide and good learning waves, while the sheltered north corner holds up in big swells. Best on a W swell with an easterly wind, on a pushing tide. School-friendly when small, heavier as it builds.
Heads up. Breakwater rocks, urban water quality after rain, rips, bigger peaks to the south.

Temp, sun and UV are reliable. Tide, wave height and wind direction are model estimates. Remember that.

AboutRight now you're looking at ankle to thigh on a falling tide, with just enough groundswell wrapping in from the north-west to hold shape on the sandy banks, but the onshore wind from the west-north-west is already softening the faces and the energy is fragmented. The sheltered northern corner by the wall might offer a cleaner right point if you're chasing every option, but frankly the swell hasn't filled in yet and the wind direction is working against you.
This afternoon the swell stays flat and the wind picks up to around 11 kilometres per hour, still onshore. Skip the 3pm session.
Tomorrow morning between 6 and 10 opens to ankle through stomach height across a longer, more organised swell period, which means the peaks south of the breakwater should build with better definition. The timing is firm enough to set an alarm, though as ever the ocean may surprise you once you're paddling out.
