Head to Beliche this morning. It's the pick across Sagres today, and the offshore northerly wind is holding the faces clean while waist to stomach-high peaks offer enough shape to work with. The swell is disorganised and coming from an angle that won't wrap cleanly into the southern coves, which is why Beliche's more open aspect and shelter from the cape cliffs give it the edge right now. Water is 17°C, air 21°C, and the falling tide will keep the banks responsive through the dawn-patrol window.

Conditions slide downhill from 1pm onward. Wind stays offshore but strengthens to 26kph, and the swell shrinks to ankle to thigh by mid-afternoon, so by 3pm the appeal has drained away.

Tomorrow sits at poor to fair and offers nothing worth timing around. Size drops to ankle to waist in the same disorganised pattern, and there is no window that stands clear of the general flatness. The forecast carries normal model uncertainty at this range, but there is no signal here worth chasing.
