ESE to W

Shorter, hollower and shiftier than the right, breaking over shallower, sharper reef on the eastern side of the bay. Wants a mid to high tide and a bit of size to fire, with the occasional barrel when it is on. The bay picks up swell year round and stays quiet, so it usually carries fewer surfers. Best in the dry season from May to October on south-southwest swell.
