Go now. The reef is waking up at overhead high with a 17-second period groundswell wrapping in from the south-west, and the light offshore wind from the east is holding the faces clean and steep. That long period is what makes the difference here, it's building shape and drive into each set, and the rising tide is covering the jagged rock just enough to let the take-off barrel without exposing the shallow sections underneath. This is confident, experienced surfer territory at 3–5 metres, and the best of it will run until around noon.

By mid-afternoon the wind swings south-easterly and turns cross-shore, and the swell peaks slightly higher but loses some of its shape. The tide will have steadied by then, so the reef will still offer some waves, though the conditions will have roughed up compared to the morning window.

Tomorrow looks to build into genuine epic territory at 5/5, peaking in the morning when the swell probably reaches overhead-high plus and the wind pattern is more favourable again. If the forecast holds, it will be the superior day, though forecasts at this distance are fallible and the ocean does not always oblige. Plan around the morning if you can.
