You are looking at head to overhead sets across the headland breaks and softer peaks in the sand, with water at 26°C and wave energy almost entirely groundswell. The offshore window closes hard when the wind swings later, so the best of it runs until 11am.

By mid-afternoon the wind swings south-east and builds to 20kph, turning onshore and filling the bay with chop. Expect the cleaner shape to fade from around 11am onward as the wind builds through the day.

Tomorrow carries the same kind of power, looking overhead at its peak and best in the morning before the tide and wind shift the setup. This demands confident, experienced surfers; the bay is deep and holds swell well, but the reefs sit either side and the size builds real consequence. Tomorrow may hold better shape into the afternoon than today does, though forecast confidence always softens at that range, so read the face when you paddle out rather than chase the model.
