Kid's Point is firing now. A 15-second groundswell window wraps in cleanly from the south-west, building faces that look like chest to overhead, and the long period is what turns this place fast and hollow. The tide is rising gently into the sweet zone, and this morning's cross-shore wind from the east has already begun to swing onshore, so the best of the run lasts until around 11am before conditions deteriorate. This is a confident surfer's wave today, requiring solid experience and comfort at overhead size and sharp reef.

By mid-afternoon the wind swings to south-east and picks up to 22 kilometres per hour onshore, chopping the faces and closing windows across the bay. Today is essentially done by then.

Tomorrow the swell rebuilds to shoulder to overhead, probably peaking around 3.5 metres, and the morning shapes up as the premium window before wind and tide spoil it. This is overhead-sized reef and a confident surfer's proposition as well, genuinely better than today if the forecast holds, though forecasts this far out can shift. Set your alarm for early.
