You're looking at waist to chest, pure swell with no wind chop, and the tide rising into mid, which is the sweet spot here; by the time you paddle out properly the peak conditions will be locked in.

By mid-afternoon the wind swings onshore from the west-south-west and the swell fades back to thigh to stomach, so the window closes steadily through the day.
