Exposed white-sand beach in the Sintra-Cascais dunes that hoovers up swell from the NW, W and SW, so it is rarely flat. The best banks sit at either end of the beach and it works for intermediates on mellow days, turning slabby and close-out when the swell jumps. Mornings are the call before the fierce nortada wind textures the surface by early afternoon, cleanest on a light easterly.
