Worth getting out for the early slot. The waist to chest swell is pure Atlantic groundswell with no wind chop to weaken the faces, and the northeast offshore wind at dawn will clean up the banks either side of Devil's Rock and hold up the shape all the way through. The tide is barely moving, which means the sandbank stays consistent and forgiving through the morning window.

The afternoon falls away as the wind swings onshore from the west and picks up to 7kph, flattening what swell remains down to thigh to stomach height by 3pm. Today's done by then.

Tomorrow morning looks similar in size at thigh to stomach and rates the same 5/5, though the swell will be softer and less organised than today's pure groundswell. The forecast has room for error this far ahead, but if the wind holds offshore into the morning the banks will shape up well enough for another worthwhile session.
