The swell is arriving from the right angle and wrapping in cleanly over the platform, holding shape across long walls and multiple sections; the nine-second period means those faces will feel organised rather than choppy. Northerly wind is cross-shore at 7 kph, light enough that it holds the walls up without fighting the swell energy. Water is warm and you are looking at waist to stomach faces in a 5/5 window that ends at noon.

Wind swings onshore by mid-afternoon and picks up to 19 kph from the NNW, which will chop the faces and close out the sections. The swell itself does not fade much, but conditions deteriorate enough that the session is effectively over by 3pm.

Tomorrow morning the swell fills in fractionally and the window opens again, probably waist to chest high and peakier in shape. It does not leap ahead of today, but it is worth a look if you miss the dawn patrol or want a second session, though forecasts and ocean reality carry their usual gap.
